What is wrong with you mang. That place has great food and the best pies in Texas. My only complaint is there's always a line coming out the door. Peanut butter chocolate pie, triple decker man.

This weekend I'll repair my screw up and post a pic.

After I'm all in on liking what I have on my electrical, I'll tackle the mess the PO made on the back side. Clean that **** up like a shiny penny.

It's been a heavy week since I sprayed the final clear coat. Maybe the weekend after Christmas I can start with the rubbing compound, Polish, wax dance to start putting this beast back together. After I'm comfortable with going a decent distance, first beers on my Buddy THC at Riley's.

Maybe that was the problem I had scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, and toast but not a pie.
Just to be clear you are talking about The bluebonnet café in Marble Falls right?
FWIW there was no line when I was there.

Just out of curiosity why did you use crimp fittings instead of solder?

I am not sure why so many people think solder is better...solder makes the wire brittle next to solder joint, and in cases of high vibration...like a solid mounted Harley motor... can break...

If you used high quality crimp connectors, and a good crimper it is not possible to get the wires apart...if you use the $10 connector kit from Autozone...you get what you pay for...

Many of the quality connectors now come with shrink wrap made onto them...all factory wiring harnesses use crimp connectors....

I've heard that but I've got soldered joints on my Heritage that are at lest 10 years old.
No problems so far.
