Well I felt like I got a dent amount of work done last night. Frame is gutted. Still got to pull the wiring. Once again I'm glad I'm digging deeper. The key for the clutch is all tore up. Theres a bad rub on the trans shaft hole that holds the snap ring trans shaft bearing. Front drive sprocket is warn pretty dent. Its also on warn on the outside left side of the pulley where the belt rides. It's going to be nice to get everything cleaned up so it's not an oily mess with 100 pounds of sludge

Hahaha......that's how mine started, and got worse the more I took it apart......except I knew it had to be torn down to a bare frame from the beginning.

I can say that so far I plan on picking up some more evo projects. They are nice to work on and even with all the issues I'm finding with this one, it's still enjoyable. They are a fun and great era to work on. We will see what it's like once it's all done and I get to ride it.

Well the only thing I have accomplished lately is I did get the frame cleaned up. Was going to get it welded up last weekend but that didnt happen. I have been talking a lot with scott from hillside. He has talked me into using a woods w6h for my cam. I like torque. So now it's just wait for everything to come here and start getting stuff back together. But for now it's just a little cleaning and paint to help pass the time.

Default Primary upgrade

So looking at changing to a newer style primary for an updated stater, worth changing out the inner for the starter or leave it as it ia?

Why not just use the All ***** starter? Updated, works great, nothing else to swap out.
