Default M&M injection parts

Morning Gents,
Haven't posted much in a while as I haven't had anything much going on. Anyway the 98 ultra with m&m was what I thought ready to finally go back on the road.

I've had this bike for about 3 years now and it seems like one thing after another. Mostly due to original 22 year old parts. First the clutch went, ok no big deal. New Barnett plates, and while I had it apart..... New bars with wires yanked through, new clutch cable and brake lines, blah, blah, blah..... done right, hahahhah.

After I got it all back together, a 120mi ride, everything is great. Then the stator crapped out, needed towed home.
New compufire high output stator and 2nd new battery (nice expensive harley battery I just bought had a bad cell and was out of warranty of course). Ok great, all back together and charging correctly.

Wash the filthy thing and let it dry, start it up to let it warm up. Ran for a few minutes and shut down, ok that is strange. Won't start up again.

Ran some tests and a resistance meter is telling me fuel pump is shot, sweet. Now we get to the meat and potatoes.

I ordered a new fuel pump (quantum), new fuel filter, new top gasket, and good ridge lines and o rings. Are there any other parts that I should replace while i am into the fi system? Yes i know i should just convert it to a super E and be done with it, but i won't.

Thanks for looking at my long winded rant. I will get this blasted thing sorted out sooner or later.

One thing to mention on the stator replacement, some of you may already know this but for those that don't. Several places sell a rotor cup removal tool that is pricey. A flywheel puller for a Briggs and Stratton motor worked just fine. Same threads and everything.

FWIW I use 2 right angle picks to remove and install the rotor.

Tex, I know my question was a little garbled in that mess.
I was asking if i should replace any of the other auxiliary parts with the injection system, such as the pressure regulator.

Is the compufire system junk? If so I guess I will have to replace it again when it craps out.

Thanks guys, not terrible luck i suppose, I've still got the hotrod softy and she runs great. I would just like to ride this blasted landbarge instead of just push it out of my way in the shop....

The manifold intake seals.
One seal required for each side.
Use a kitchen sink garbage disposal allen/hex wrench with the weird bend to remove bolts easier.
Part number 26995-86B less than $10 USA dollars total for both seals.
The little bolt on idle arm at throttle body might be loose..double check. By throttle cables at throttle body.
Probably have some loose tank liner in fuel tank and that has a tendency to block fuel flow at filter sock.
There is a kit (small bag) of o-rings to replace all the o-rings in throttle body area. Basically fuel injector and fuel line attachment point o-rings.
Air filter to throttle body gasket for back plate part number 29095-95 under $10 USA dollars part.
Throttle & idle cables should be reviewed..If throttle cable breaks it will most likely happen at handlebar side.
How many miles on bike? general condition?
