weak dash lites

A few years ago I went through this on my 95 Heritage.
I took the dash off and found the lenses had a lot of caked on dust. I washed it thoroughly with dish washing liquid. Since it was apart, I out in new ordinary bulbs.
The difference was night and day and I only spent a few dollars.
Since I live alone, I can do whatever I want without someone bitching like wash my bikes dash in the kitchen sink or the windshield in the bath tub.
