How many electrical terminals (posts) do you have on your coil?

I was thinking the same thing but did not comment because the OP said he had it on single fire before. So I just assumed it was a three terminal coil? Sill would be nice to know for sure. YD

Yeah it would be, because you can't just switch over an ignition from single to dual fire and use the same coil.. That's why I'm a little skeptical of myself..

Had to swap plug wire terminals. My buddy pulled them before I could verify so we checked his 94 Stock Dyna and it was short to the top and long to the bottom of coil. Thus why it ran dual fire. I run Twin Tec single fire coil so they needed reversed. Problem solved. Thanx for input gents.

That makes sense, question here, initially when it wouldn't start was it popping out the intake or the exhaust when you were trying to start it??

That info right there would have made it a lot easier to diagnose what was going on.. when it comes to info more is better.....
