Default single fire ignition

Getting ready for my Andrews ev46 cam to be installed, been wondering if its worth the expense to install a single fire ignition ? are the performance gains worth the money ? the adjustable timing/ rev limiter do i really need those features for the blasting around i do on these Pennsyvainia roads or should i do another mod.instead of it ? any ideas fellas, Frank

dont bother, single fire works on paper, dosnt really cross over to the real world,we`ve tested single fire ignition on our dyno, never gained or lost anything.tried single fire on our gas & nitro dragbikes, went faster with dual fires

Same here, tried it once on a 93" stroked Shovel, never noticed any difference.

Default Single Fire vs. Dual Fire Ignition Systems...

Here's what Nightrider has to say about the topic....

http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/h...ionmodules.htm

To answer your question, "are the performance gains worth the money ?"...

The answer is no, because there are no performance gains.

If you're looking for a bang for your buck, spend your money on

some head work and a better cam......money well spent, in my opinion.

Want to really see a difference....bump your compression up...

Sorry, doesn't make any difference except that you are changing out stuff that already works just fine for stuff that has unknown reliability. Just put a SE box on it to move the rev limiter, all you need.
