Could an extension be machined to screw into the head and the other end made to accept a 32446-99.
Not sure of the room to do this. Have only seen one of these motors in real life.

Yes .We had a machine shop make the extension youre talking about. We had the shop compare the old EVO temp sensor and the Twin Cam sensor to get the right length and thread.
Its a really tight fit ..but does work. I remember having to use a very thin walled socket for installation.
Did this in October for a friends bike and I havent heard any complaints.
