No, the ball and ramp I am running is original `89.
The larger ball bearings are in the trap door, `99 and later used the larger ball bearings, the inside diameter of the bearings remained the same.
Must have been someone else. My mind is shot right now. Meds are making me forget stuff. But I went to 10mm ***** in ramp to increase lift slightly and so did someone else.

And thoughts on the '04 trap door on a '91 case?
Yes it's ok to use the 21* ramps but keep in mind that they will not make the clutch pull easier.. They will give a little more separation to the clutch pack but also stress the clutch spring more which will make it feel like a harder pull on the lever... As for the trap door I do not have an answer.. Sorry....
Here is the post to 98hotrodfatboy and the famous 10 mm *****, it's good info. I just never got around to ordering them, curious if your still using them on your bike??? Any negatives??

Thanks YD, not sure about being famous like IHOP Pancakes but I've not had any issues at all.. Shifts are still effortless.. Even when Power Shifting I've never missed a gear.. And we all know about the "3 more HP".. LOL..
I did the 10mm ***** in my '04 with a Energy One clutch. Got the ***** from Mcmaster Carr for around $9 for a 10 pack. No problems at all. I just looked up some of my notes. The stock ball is .375" and the 10mm ball is .394" so .019" bigger. My own notes are even hard for me decipher now but it looks like it gave me an increase of 0.127" lift at the plate. Or 0.869" total lift. I gotta start making better notes! LOL!
