Ok, so update. I did follow everything in my CLYMER manual. I took the rocker box off and in doing so, found a broken bolt that I did not realize when I put it together. got everything back together, slowing tightening the bolts in stages, then fired her up. Still a little noisy but better. While bringing my ear closer to the noise (and this is where I feel COMPLETELY stupid) I notice the front cylinder exhaust flange nuts were not tight. SO I torqued them to specs, double checked the rear exhaust nuts, (they were good to go) and fired it back up again. Purrs like a Harley should. Thanks for all the insight and suggestions.
