this is my oil pump. has no check ball. there is nothing under the top hose

 

Take the shiney tin cover off.....

Yeah it's tin bling cover, held on by the 1/4" allen bolts you see, I have one still in the package hanging on my " please take it " wall. Should wiggle right out when you pull them and no it won't hurt the pump there's 4 more bolts holding on.

 

omg fooled me. so i take out the 2 allen bolts and it comes off ?
