Default My evo experience

Had hot rod twin cams, vrods, and even jap bikes but yesterday I took a 4 hour ride on my new to me 95 heritage classic and I have to say I’ve never had a bike that was as enjoyable to ride.
Can’t explain it, bike just makes me smile!
incredible personality in these evos and no distractions like clocks, Bluetooth or even fuel guage just ride the bike.
i’v said my piece. I think the evo is staying!

Cool looking scoot. That a southern engineered starter button wire?

What's up big Griz? Sure looks like that, but it's a battery tender line.

As far as I can tell it’s internally stock but I found new in the box hooker headers stepped pipes (haven’t made them in years) and s&s intake (always wanted a tear drop cover).
Some 14” apes and a lepera seat and off to races.
had been sitting since 1998 in heated storage.
gas tank and carb were full of “jello” but not a spec of rust. Only had 14000kms (about 8000miles).
fresh white walls and i’ve been grinning ever since.
surprisingly it hangs with the twin cams up to about 60-70 mph then they start pulling away.
not to worried about it being quick, I just love the experience. It’s different than anything else I’ve ridden and I grin like an idiot every single time!

Cool

Sweet scooter...Love the Heritage back in those days. An Evo cruiser proves that you don't need a radio, or GPS on your motorcycle...Ride the bejesus out of it!

You may want to swap out the floorboard inserts. Cheap on Amazon and they reduce the buzz. Beautiful bike!

Those headers are awesome. Don’t care what anyone says.. those on a souped up motor go faster than a two into one like Thunderheaders or Ls 2:1 pipes. You’ll make about the same torque through the mid range but your top end mph will gain over the 2 into 1’s. KEEP THEM. Put yourself an Andrew’s 46 cam and an S&S E with good ignition and you’ll pass the Twinkies.

You ever wanna sell those stepped Hookers let me know. I’m grabbing ever set I can find. Bassani pro streets too.
