When I bought my 96" Ultima for the chopper, I called Jireh Cycles and gave them the Serial number off of the Engine and they sent me the MSO in about a week.
I can't take the Samson touring ovals much longer , just too loud and I am afraid the 3 1/2" cvo touring pipes (65254-00) may be too restrictive so I am considering Hooker 2 into 1 or Supertrapp Supermegs 2 into 1 .
It appears both can be tuned to make them quieter.
I was considering True Duals as well but the Hooker header models were almost twice as much as their 2 into 1 system. I could get V&H true dual headers for a reasonable price. It's a tough call, I just can't handle loud noises these days. My ears are messed up, some noises seem extremely loud yet voices are barely heard.
I can sympathise! Have you tried ear plugs? I have been using them since the 1970s, even in the car on long journeys, to take away some of the noise of travelling. We can get them here in the UK from bike shops now, or try your local gun shop. I don't go anywhere without them.
I might try earplugs, and did order a set of V&H true dual head pipes from Dennis Kirk, just got the tracking numbers via email and they are expected to arrive 11/20/08. I will put on the touring pipes at first until I figure out what will work best. I like the loud pipes for a very short period and probably better on someone else's bike.
pajoe...how is that 107 workin' out...I've been considering that engine for my FXRS...did you have to do any adjustments to the carb(mikuni)..the reason I ask is when I get my engine I've never delt with a mikuni carb before..I'm used to the S&S super e.
So far the Ultima engine has been working good but only has about 50 miles on it. The pre-run Ultima engines come with everything set well enough to run. Our 113 started easily the very first time. I did open the idle mixture screw a small amount to help eliminate some popping out the exhaust during deceleration..
I still have a few things to work out but making progress slowly. I can believe that someone with experience and knowledge could easily replace one and have it ready to go in less than a day, especially if it was not a bagger with lowers etc to deal with.

Any experience with these ?
thanks in advance
I tried the supertraps but wasn't happy with them and ended up ordering the RB racing black hole. http://rbracing-rsr.com/lsr21blackhole.htm they take a while to get as they custom make each pipe by hand but it's an awsome "quiet" deep throated rumble.
