I know many of you in the colder parts of the US are probably deeply concerned about the cold front we’re getting here in Florida.
It’s gonna be ok, don’t start a Go Fund Me or anything. We’ll power through as men. We did lose a whole 7 hours of time that was just too cold to ride.
But have faith, we’ll endure, I have a long sleeve shirt, so don’t worry about us down here in Florida.

Thanks for relieving us of that worry...otherwise, I was going to suggest you take some of that nice, warm sand you have so much of, and pound it into your "Key West"! 😏

I may need to ride down there and endure the freezing 78 degree weather to get some of this sand you speak of.
I've been doing the same thing. Facebook marketplace is dangerous!! Is it me or are softails kind of less expensive? I have an 85 FXRS but have always been a FLH guy. Would like to get a Road King pre EFI or converted. I saw a 79 FLH complete but no papers for $3,500 not running ... been shovel curious. Just take my internet access away for a few months!!
Check marketplace in the BayArea currently theres an early 90s RK right now under 4K, looks good to.
Your FXR looks pretty darn nice. And it’s a Shovelhead! I wish I still had mine (1987 FXRS-SP).
Whatever floats your boat. That Heritage looks sweet. A ‘99 Evo is hard to beat.
Nice find, there are garage queens out there. The color looks like the EGC I bought last week. I agree with you on the FXR, I could never get comfortable on the RT I had. Might have been better with forwards but the mids were terrible for me. I was never really impressed with the RT and didn't understand what all the fuss was about.
I bought my FXRS at the peak of the FXR "fuss" and it didn't meet the hype lol. I tried to find forward controls for the it but didn't have much luck. The ones that would fit were too expensive for my taste, considering how much I ride it.

I get it, I'm retired and have too much time on my hands. Ive been guilty lurking around Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and local area swap meets picking up parts and projects that I dont need. Its a sickness really. My family and friends have pleaded with me to seek Professional help or to join Motorcycle Hoarders Anonymous, but so far, I have resisted.
