Architect. Holy **it! That fits it. The original title gave the name(don’t recall) and year (2012). That would explain the issues with the frame. Thank you for the story.

caliper - digital or manual
Dial test indicator
Torque wrench - I have a few cheap ones ($30+-) but I believe a better one would be in order, particularly angle ability(just learned about that)
any HD specific tool that might be useful, I know that depends on what I am going to do, but creating a list to be prepared for the wallet beating i expect.

The mechanic I have been speaking with said the mark broke the metal surface and I will have to replace it. I had already ordered an Andrews EV27 cam as I suspected that mark did not bode well for the cam.

With the Andrew ev27 cam, I plan to put adjustable pushrods. If the lifters look okay, should I stick with them or get new ones regardless since I am there. If so, which ones would be best?
