Default latest saga

well I had a [problem with my bike dying like the kill switch was turned off on sunday. per suggestions from the fine folks on this forum I changed out the circuit breakers and also found my fuel tank vent line was pinched. I went to try to start it last night and had no spark. my battery voltage was down to about 12.3 volts. I hooked up my tender and to day it had 13.4 volts and the bike fired right up. my questions are 1. are crane hi-4 ignitions that sensitive to voltage?2. do you think my battery is junk? I know it is at least 2 years old. I am going to get a new battery this week. I hope this solves my problems. any suggestions or advice would be great.
Thanks Wils

They are sensitive in that if the voltage dips low enough while cranking, they will basically turn off until the power is removed, then they reset. I have seen 2 of them act that way. One was on my bike with an S&S 96" that was hard to turn over. When I put a stronger battery in, the problem disappeared. 12.3 volts is a little low. I would replace the battery.
