Worthwhile to add a a FI controller to a stock '98?

Worthwhile to add a a FI controller to a stock '98?
I have a stock '98 RKC and was wondering if others who had switched to a Power Commander or other unit, feel it made a difference for them.

Absolutely. Your bike will run cooler and have better throttle response. And if you do anything, such as pipes and air cleaner, you can dial it in easily. I have a PC II available. I only upgraded to the PC III so my tuner could dial in my extensive mods.

It you have installed pipes and open air cleaner, then do it!
Just installed one on my 98 Classic but only because i just replaced my cam bearing and one thing lead to another. Cam, lifters, pushrods, PCIII USB, V&H true dual head pipes and a dyno tune. Should have done it years ago....
