Can anyone who lost/dumped a bike on the street say it happened because of the brand of tires they were using?
The Metzler 880's in the rain totally suck. The sliding from one side of a lane into another was like nothing I've experienced since my dirt bike days. It got to be so annoying I took the tires off before they were worn out and went back to the Dunlop 402's. The Dunlop's don't slide in the rain. my $.02 based on daily 25 mile commute rain or shine on an '05 Ultra with 57k miles.

Well then I must have gotten a few sets of good ME880's...because they were great in the rain.
Dunlops a great tire too. I used them as well. Just not my preference.

I use Dunlops. Thats about the only thing I have ran (To be honest). I have been fortunate enough to have never had a blow-out and don't ever want to! The Dunlops have served me well, and I hear they don't wear as quickly as some other brands. I put on a fair share of miles and need to pay attn. to tire wear!
i currently have the HD Dunlap times that came on my bike. i just got it used a few months back. i live in florida and have been riding fairly regularly this winter, it is about time i get one ones. i like the old white walled look i am trying to make my bike look older then it is. any good suggestions out there. cost isn't really an issue but handling is i also would like to get 7-8K out of them i don't really like 3 sets of tires a year it gets annoying.
