hey charlie i am in abq ...any way do u remember signature cycle ? tim peacock ? well i used to have a 98 fatboy and he put in a twin cam 88 he did it in a day well my thought is this a stock engine will run all day and be realiable i never hop up my engines once u crack an engine to me its never the same ....i found a link that may or not help u if u do decided to go to a tc ( u can find them cheap ) Twin Cam A in 98 Road king EVO frameTc/evo We just did a 120" TC engine in a 97 Dyna. The wireing harness parts came from R&R Cycle. Talk to Art 603-645-1488. They have a 117 in a EVO Dyna also with the TC/EVO rear adapter plate.

Thanks for the info but I probably should have stated this along with all the other info in my opening post - a Twin Cam is not an option for me. I know I can but I dont want to. I plan on keeping my Evo forever because it's a great motor (just occasionally needs a little more power) and there is something about that Twin Cam that bugs me.
