The history on this one is 1st owner put on about 3800mi, and 2nd owner put on new tires, a new battery, and then didn't even ride 1000 over a year. So lucky me, owner number 3, get's a great deal!
Today I discovered that it still has the stock filter design, maybe even the original filter. I know that going to a K & N setup is a no-brainer, but since my father-in-law has a 88 softail that is bone stock (original owner he is), and seems to run just fine, I'm considering keep mine stock as well. hhmmm. I could even go back to the stock mufflers, just to be original. The V & H mufflers are almost too loud for me anyway. It will be unique just to be stock...
Mine is still completely stock from air filter to muffler.I just don't have the money to start changing things. Besides, it runs great and gets 40-45 mpg.And I agree..it's unique in it's "stockness"!
