stator question?

If your 1996 Roadking is EFI.....few of them were EFI versions. Then, the bike needs to be 45 amp. If your bike is standard carburetor.....you can use the stock stator, but with the upgraded rotor which is 29999-97.

This upgrade is 45 amp.

Cool thanks for the info. Thats what i was after. If the police version is the best thats what i will get. Goin to test my stator to see what i got. Thanks again!

I have a three phase 40 amp in mine and when I start it up, the Russian sattelites go crazy!!!LOL Seriously though, you might want to look into a three phase system as they are easier on the batteries than the old system which was little more than an on and off switch that cooked batteries.

Mine has 45 amp.Battery lasted 8 yrs.

John, that's interesting. Can you point us at an example please? Does it also need a different regulator?
