Default 9.5:1 pistons?

hey folks,

anyone know where i can get a nice set of dome topped 9.5:1 pistons? ...any recommendations on brand?

i'm having Deweys heads do my headwork and will be installing an Andrews ev27 cam, and they recommend 9.5 pistons

I put Wiseco pistons in mine.I got them on Ebay for $250 shipped.Everywhere else was $280 plus shipping.Be careful with your cam choice, some cams build up too much cranking pressure and can be hell on starters, although you can have compression releases installed in the heads and solve that problem.

well, 9.5:1 flats are easy enough to be had....but domed? ....i thought that was for higher compression ratios beyond 10:1?

I searched for 9.5:1 also when I did my build, couldn't find any.Just go with 10:1 and email Andrews and they'll tell you what cam they suggest. They sent me an email but I couldn't find it.The Crane cam I installed is also suggested for 10:1 compression.Wiseco 10:1s are domed.
