I know a dude who did this and he nearly shat himself with fear on corners because of the lack of ground clearance...he sold it and bought a Muscle Rod.
I'm still dragin parts, at stock height, even though I removed the floorboards, for forward controls. If it's a lower seat height your after, there are some low profile seats out there.
I dropped my previous twin cam heritage in the rear only. I did not notice a big difference at all. Now the front would have been a problem. The floor boards dragged from stock height so I never dropped the front.
I can't imagine feeling like you need to lower a Heritage cause you sit nice and low in that seat anyway?? My King on the other hand sits alot higher and I'd like to lower it but I think it would be best to do it with a better seat.I've sat on my buddys Heritage Springer and thought, wow this how I'd like to sit on my King.
Well Hell, 2in lower on my Heritage, front {white bros} -Rear {Progressive} and love it. Dont bottom out any more the I did stock. Got to watch ground clearence. Hit the floor boards a few times, snapped the toe tab off the kick stand{2 times} before I got the hang of it. Me and the wife 400lbs and the bike rides nice.
