Default rocker box question (first top end rebuild)

this is my first top end rebuild and have spent a lot of time in the forum learning from all you guys(priceless by the way) i have a dilema, after getting the whole top end apart on my ultra i discarded all of the old gaskets, now i do not remember which side the (umbrella gasket?) goes on the middle rocker box. i see that there is a spot on each side for one but which side is correct? also i don't understand how the top end get's it's oil? i see the tubular channels coming up through the cylinder but i can't see how it could possibly flow in a vertical way. and being oil pressure very seldom exceeds 20-25lbs and only maybe 5lbs at idle what's up with that?

Umbrella's go on the side towards the middle (nearest the intake manifold) and are supposed to help in the seperation of oil/oil vapors and the air exiting the breathers. Oil gets to the top end through the pushrods, so ensure that they are open and not clogged. Hope this helps.

The lifters act just like a small pump and pushrods are hollow ., believe me they do move the oil up .
