It fired up today!
Still savoring the sound of the old iron bitch burping to life today after a full winter torn down for a re build.
I turned the fuel on, lit a smoke, grabbed a cold beer & looked for gas leaks, proper oil level & tight bolts.
Pulled the enrichener & hit the button. It fired up & stalled. once more with a lil throttle & off it went. I set the idle to 1500 & brought it to running temp. I have one push rod tube spraying a lil oil at the bottom & one push rod to adjust but thats about all.
Cant wait to tweak it & try a ride tomorrow!

That's funny now that I read it, I will curb the smoking a lil for now!
it sounds way different now. more tone in the exhaust & you can hear the compression. I might make a quick u tube flick tonight once I fix the oil leak. I won't know how well the EV 13 cam works until I roll it down the road & tomorrow it's calling for rain. So a wet ride is in the forecast.
Gotta find a solo seat now, or make one. Once I pulled the tour pack off, The seat looks stupid!
