Default Two Questions

I have a 95 Ultra Electra Glide Shriners bike I just put Rinehart tru duals on. I have stock air cleaner and carb. Any suggestions on the best air cleaner kit for the Evo/Rinehart combo that doesnt cost a fortune?

Also...my bike is a light blue/royal blue paint scheme that my local HD dealership says is not in their paint book as an option for 1995. I'm trying to find some of the light blue touch up paint for it...any one have any info about this? thanks.

The Harley Screaming Eagle will do just fine for your application.
Your dealer is right the only stock blue offered in 1995 was Aqua Pearl in single color only. Hope this helps.

If you can't find or don't know the paint code if you could go to any automotive paint supply store they will have a crapload of color chips for you to match your color to. It's your choice of course but I'm a painter by trade and have always leaned towards PPG. They should be able to mix you up a fairly small amount of it for touch up purposes.

Second the Screamin Eagle filter set up, if you follow Ebay and do some homework, they are plentyful, I picked up a complete SE assembly for $1.25 on Ebay.

Second the PPG also. most paint mixing places also have a scanner called a Proffit that scans the paint on your bike/car and breaks down the colors that make up that paint code.

Shriner paint, dealer is being lazy.

The HD Screaming Eagle hi flow air cleaner is good, followed by the Ness big Sucker- which ever is cheapest and has style oiled, washable filter media

( for current models, the ness is better than the S/E )

Default Paint

Found out my 95 Shriner bike was ordered with a custom two tone paint job the original owner paid extra for. The good...it's still in great shape and is one of a kind. The bad...no color codes given. Looks like I'm going with the paint shop computer diagnosis for paint mixture. Thanks for all your input gentlemen.

Ya'll got me wondering about the paint on my bike now. Mine is a '95 Ultra Classic. The paint is two tone-light blue over dark. It sure looks like the factory paint, but maybe not.

There are "custom factory" paint schemes that were available for years. Some were more popular than others, Harley even started numbering the sets in order to limit the number and therefore make them worth more.
