Default Back On The Road

I can't find my old threads so I'll start a new one. First of all, many thanks to all the great people on this forum who provided guidance and suggestions for a newbie wrench like me. I was having major shifting issues and found some chunks, yes chunks, of metal on my mag plug when I drained the tranny fluid to check the throwout bearing. Throwout bearing was fine. I decided to totally disassemble the primary so I could pull the tranny gears and give them a thorough inspection. My clutch plates were fired, including the springplate. After getting it all pulled apart could not find anything wrong with any of the tranny gears, retainging clips, shifter forks, nothing. Cleaned everything up really good, put it back together with some new seals, gaskets, clutch plates, etc. and she's back on the road. It appears that someone had been into the tranny before based on some marks we found on various nuts that wouldn't have been left by a professional who had the proper tools so I'm guessing there was an issue with the PO and they didn't do a thorough job. Sorry for the novel, I'm just excited to be on the road again!!!!!!! Plus it's 54 degrees in Indiana on January 6 and I rode my bike to work!!!!
