O-ring only here too. No leaks either. Have had in off and on several times.
What about the inspection cover gasket? I'm about to svc and adjust my primary.....I plan to re-use the o-ring on the derby cover. Do I need to order the inspection cover gasket before I start? It's a 92 FLHTC......top illustration, #30
I know the pic Isn't necessary but I happened to be looking the part up and thought this could come in handy for someone.
If you've not used the OEM parts finder before....this is a killer way to locate parts!!

Over the years, the inspection cover gasket has changed. Originally, they were cardboard with a layer of rubber printed on them. Nowdays, they are a thin piece of steel coated with rubber on both sides. I usually can reuse the new style three or four times if I have to, but it won't hurt to have one on hand. They're not that expensive.
Mine has both. There is the o-ring around the actual derby cover, then the gasket that covers the entire hole and has one side that says :this side towards clutch". Ironically the first time I removed it I was missing the gasket as well.
same here , and when the indy removed the gasket, it leaked everywhere
