Agree with all ., my only point is ... the quality of engine oil has quantified in the last 20 years to the point were it is now possible to run regular dyno. oil to 3 times past its old change limits. With a decent oil filter and running a motor at normal loads , the current oils out there are good for at least double the change rates descibed in most older manuals . Not withstanding... that oil gets dirty depending on your particular application.
If your running in the desert , change frequently , stop and go , same ., if scooting on w/ends your good for months .

+1 You won't regret, D1gger. The thread DIY Scavenger Puck under $10.00 started by 2kids3pets that I linked before explain it all. That's what I use too.

Talking about a cheap and effective solution, I recently readed somewhere about this oil filter bypass adapter that is designed for other use, but could handle the scavenging task clean and easily by adding a short hose. Have to ask them if it will fit our bikes, but it seems to share the same size as Evo filters.
