Hi Harold, I'm only about 100 miles away from Bentwaters. My sister and her husband lived there for a while......

I've been to Felixstowe on a RoRo (Roll on Roll off ship), back in the 80's.

The ferries in that area have moved to Harwich now and Felixstowe has been developed into a major International container port. I wouldn't be surprised if Harleys and moco parts come into the UK there.

Why not change some of your bulbs to LED...they draw less than halogen.

Yep ... a relay is definitely needed .... those wires, and the headlight socket, will cook ... ask me how I know ... Melted the one on my 1992 FLHTCU and it was ugly!

That wasn't a ferry, Tup. It was a container ship that was configured to handle trailers and cars, etc. They put the containers below decks on little tiny trailers called Mofi's or Mofties or something. Been _a few_ years, and that was probably the worst ship I ever sailed on. Really a nice ship, built in Norway, I think, had a pool across the passage way from my cabin (suite really,) but terrible pay and an ******* for a captain. I was glad to be off that thing. I did sit in a Austin Martin DB5 we hauled from Europe to the US. That was cool. Actually, it reminded me a lot of the GT6 I used to own, my first car (who knew cars could be so bad?)

In Felixstowe, I went to the Seamen's Center. Had lunch, drank some beers, had to wait until the bar opened again in the afternoon, picked up some books, drank some more beer, picked some wild berries on the side of the sidewalk (went great with ice cream), stumbled back to the ship.

Why do Englishmen drink warm beer? Because Lucas makes refrigerators too.
