On a slightly different subject: if you are changing intake seals, change the clamps as well - they are inexpensive but in my experience surprisingly easy to warp (that could be your real problem).

As a mechanic in southeast Alaska where we have a lot of corrosion (I live next to ocean) I usually will not use anti sieze on bolts or wheel studs because it makes using a torque wrench or getting the proper amount of torque on bolts inaccurate. I have seen numerous bolts/wheel studs brake when tightening or threads pulled out due to anti sieze. I do use anti sieze regularly, but not on bolts,
