I want to do this, any preference on prefabbed brand or kit? I want something to fit a lepera barebones not a custom seat.
Opinions, options...
If you are going to do it...get the ones that are one piece...not the welded on extensions. The one piece ones are curved on the bottom...stock tanks are flat on the bottom, and then angle down where the extensions are welded on. The curved bottom gives the effect of a stretched frame and makes the rocker boxes easier to clean. Got mine off ebay for $40...not sure of the brand.
For sale till jan 1st, after that I feel it'd be a real time crunch to build something and be ready by march. So it looks like I'm doing more to this now
