I have the feeling, she wasn't getting enough fuel. I hooked my Mighty Vac to the Vac line on the petcock, and fuel started flowing. Then, i put the tank back on and hooked her up.

Pull that vacuum operated piece of crap off and see how far you can throw it. Then get a Pingle (non-vacuum) and direct your VOES to the intake only.

You will have to get used to turning it off to stop and on to run but it solves so many problems.
