Default Puddle on floor

Building my first Harley. I bought a basket case dyna with an 80" evo which the guy had gone down with. Apparently hit a fire plug and cracked the left case. I was/am on a very tight budget, so I tracked down a left case but it is a delcron. So... I fit it up with the remaining Harley case and fit it all back together with the outside being a not quite perfect match ,but apparently inside is same as motor runs fine. My question is this, What is involved in switching my primary over to an open belt drive. Reason being rthe case I purchased came to me with all 4 bolt holes blown out and 1/2 the circle around stator cracked off (missing ). I was able to weld the holes and also built up the missing area then using a die grinder, re fabbed the circle. Unfortunately, I dont have a machine shop. My work looks great, but having done it by hand, it is off. The primary bolts up, I used helicoils, but again, by hand so its off a bit. so it fits up but there are som gaps, albeit small, yet still there. Surprise, my bike leaked from primary at alarming rate. I removed it and cut out a gasket for it,which helped considerably, but still leaking. So I tracked down an open belt drive primary. Any suggestions advice or encouragement would be appreciated. Thanks, Bubba
