But they look so damn cool...right? For me its a frame size thing. Got good reach to bars and footboards. Feel cramped on Touring frame. I'm 6'4".

Without air adjustable shocks, the softail is a PITA to keep adjusting for solo and 2-up riding. You have to adjust the preload to a firmer setting for the extra weight.

I hear that. The lower limit of travel is two rubber bumpers on the frame, and that's a fixed point. If you lower the bike, you're losing the amount of suspension travel equal to how much you're lowering the bike, as the end point of the travel doesn't change.

But I love 'em, though.
