Make sure them fat pushrods are not hitting inside the pushtubes at the very top, the exhaust are more likely to hit because of the angle.
In your last pic, looks like a rubbed spot about a inch from the top?
You can remove some metal from inside the top of the pushtubes for clearance.
u think the pushrods are too big around and may be hitting something? I couldn't see any wear marks on either of them.. thanks for the input by the way!
The pushrods are ok, most adjustables are bigger and sometimes hit in the top of the tubes, that's why some are tapered.
Get a mechanics stethoscope(screwdriver may work) and listen where the tubes meet the head.
It' could be hitting and not really make much of a mark.
Hard to tell listening to videos, but yours kinda sounds like a bled down lifter.
The video was before the new lifters?, if so check the rollers for any extra play.
yes the video is why its tore apart in the garage right now waiting for my new lifters to get here..lol and I did the stethoscope thing with a screwdriver before I tore it apart. sounded like it was coming from the front of the rocker box where the valve is. that's why I took the cover off to have a look at the valve spring. the tappet rollers don't have much play in them..is there any way to check the old lifter to see if its bad or not?

Valve train noise is a dog to diagnose because the sound can travel up the pushrods, new lifters are always a good investment anyway, even it doesn't fix the noise.
Broken valve spring wll make that sorta sound and you sometimes have to look hard to see the break with the valve still in the head.

thanks spanners, ill get a better look at it. gotta be sure before I put it back together.
Undo the two right hand side rocker gear bolts on each jug and slip the rocker shaft out and pull the rocker arms.... this will give you a better look at the valve springs.
