Hey Kickstand after looking at your pictures again I think the problem is in they type of cables you are using.
Looking at your pictures it looks like the cable ferrules aren't fitting down inside the cable guide. That effectively makes the cable guides longer and then they can't fit under the tank.
Can you look at the cable guide when you twist the throttle and see if you can see any movement.
It does look like they are not sitting all the way down, i will have to check that out tonight. I appreciate all your guys help!
Yes the pictures helped and Yes where the cables go into the guide doesn't seem right at all. I think you guys are right, it has something to do with the cables. I will post pictures tomorrow night, been to busy and now getting ready to watch SOA...lol
When I got my S&S V111 it came with two guides, one for the stock cables and the other which was on the carb for (I guess) S&S cables. You may have to get the guide for the stock cables which had wider and lower guide tubes.

If I use the cable guide you are talking about I don't think my cables would work. I think the actual cables would be to long. I only got one cable guide with my carb.
Texas you can see in the first picture what you were talking about in the first picture where the ends of the cable aren't sitting all the way down in the guide but I cant get them down any further. So you guys are right about something not matching up. So I am not sure what cables I need. Sucks because I paid a lot for the ones that I have. So any help would be great!
S&S makes 2 types of guides. Which one you use, depends on what type of cables you use. Looking at your pic, you may have wrong one because you have too sharp a bend going into the guide. If its hard to pull, don't ride it until you get it fixed. You may have the throttle stick & crash.
