Myself I'd bump it up to 9.5:1 via shaving the heads and install the Comp 3010 with new lifters. I'm looking forward to the build.

How much can you shave and still use stock PRs and have no alignment problems? If anything, I was thinking a light de-glazing of cylinders and using 9.5:1 pistons. I can keep stock PRs (mandatory for me), and have no fitment issues. You guys are evil.

Since you are going with new pistons, no need to shave the heads. You just spec the right pistons and you are good to go.
