The only thing I know about a started clutch is that when it "starts" to go, it's time to replace it. This isn't one of those things that you would try to milk the rest of the riding season on. Once it's gone, it's gone and you'll be stuck somewhere looking for a tow truck. Don't ask me how I know that.

I completely agree. Dont care to be stranded somewhere.Starter is new but I think Im going to change the solenoid while im at it. from all the reading I ve been doing the starter clutch seems like a pretty common issue.
