Default '84 FLHTC Front End Servicing

I'm noticing oil seeping out of the top of one of the fork tubes. I'm assuming that it's just the seal. I've never worked on the front end of this bike so I'm just looking for any input as to how intensive a process this is, any tips and tricks, or anything else that I should look at/replace while I have it apart.

There's a thread or two on here with the easy way of doing it. That is, the way that you don't have to pull the whole front end apart. I haven't done it that way, but that's the way I would (will) do it next time. Try some google-fu to find the thread.
