Anyone use these on their Evo? I just received the set I ordered for my '88 FLST project. Oil pump/filter mount sides seem ok. Not sure about the compression fittings for the oil tank. No instructions, which is nice. But I found a set of instructions for Harley's kit. Seems like its the same set up. I see how to physically make the connections at the tank. Just feel a little uneasy about the seal and holding power of the connections.
I don't have anyone's kit, just some Russell braided hose that I cut to fit. I used regular worm drive compression clamps on everything and (knock on wood) they've been holding fine.
The Dr's idea is good and to dress them up a little, these look pretty decent. The P/O did my fuel lines with them..I did not check sizes or anything on the link....
Thanks for the replies. Appreciate the information. I decided to return the kit. For the money ($150) I'm just not happy with the quality. Going to follow the advice of getting a length of braided line (J&P has black nylon braided which will match my bike better) & those chrome oil line camps.
Have to check around my garage but I think I threw out all the original lines. Can you guys confirm for me that the oil lines are 3/8" & the drain hose is 1/2"? Thanks again!
