Just normal over here - or at least it was many years ago! I had one memorable ride on my shovel late one evening. Freezing fog with very little visibility and the ice was building up on the forward facing parts of the bike, as well as me. I got off in a small town, shook off the ice and pushed my bike, engine still running, for about half a mile, admittedly on a level road, to try to warm up. No surprise that there was no other traffic!
