or get a programmable ignition and cable & software, test and find out which canned map works best, then tweak that map where needed.
Just something else to think about,
I don't know if maybe that yost powertube has you a little lean in the mid range under hard accel,
a smaller air bleed jet will let the main jet come in sooner.
As "Pop" always told me, "Sonny Boy, If It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It". I also have a single fire on my Evo Bob-ster and I can't tell crap for difference between single or duel.
I've been looking at the VOES switch hanging on the Flat Black Bagger I'm building... Hummmmm?
Something to think about with the VOES, while I'm no expert on them, they rely on vacuum to operate and adjust your timing based on the vacuum produced in the intake. A strong engine with larger cam will not produce the same vacuum as stock. So, is it needed?? I guess it depends on your package, but it certainly needs to be calibrated for your engine package, if you have one. I tend to believe a good ignition system should do the job w/o it..

Thanks Schex, did not think about the Yost. All very good points you made.
Wish I could fly you in to fine tune this beast. Also my Indy used the medium springs so I should be OK there. Indy also said the advance is already done before 3000 rpm.
