Default broken choke cable-options?

I was putting the bike back together tonight and hoping to start it this weekend, but broke the choke cable when tightening it down. I knew to be careful, but guess age has taken its toll. Looks like J&P has one for a little over $21.00. Any other options? Can it be repaired? thanks

Not much luck repairing them. Not so many taters next time.

Depending how broken it is you can sometimes fix them using a tiny hose clamp.

A local indy might have one or even the stealership.

It might be a little more but you would get it quicker.

Broken choke cables are common. Most dealerships will have one in stock. All the ones near me do. Can't remember the cost but I think they will be cheaper than $21.

Mine was 12 bucks at the stealer a few years back. However I rigged the old one up with a zip tie for a few weeks before I replaced it.
