Does your hub nut contact the washer? I have a one year earlier hub. Iirc the nut holds it in place.

did they fall out or did you take them out. either way that's not supposed to come out they use a press ring to lock them in. i don't think there's even a part number for that. those lock rings can only be pressed once. if it comes out its shot

There's no part number. I realized that yesterday. It won't go in at all I tried. The nut goes inside the black ring it doesn't hold it in at all. What a mess I've made here. The book said flip over and remove. I didn't realize it was after the inner hub was pressed out.

Guess I'll be waiting on the box of parts from junglejoe. I'm going to press this apart to check the outer basket and if it's good get it to Pinetop then just toss the inner out. Sucks but I don't know what else to do.

I am truly impressed with the people who frequent this (EVO) forum, you dont witness this kind of old fashioned neighborly action anymore. Someone in need of help and it is done. Ive been on the receiving end and will someday pass something back, this is the way the world should work, and will if kept up. Good kharma junglejoe, throttle jockey and kp77.

You have to compress that spring disc as per my earlier post or the clip won't go back in, its not shot because you removed it, it just needs the proper technique to flatten it so the clip groove is clear......phone me if you can't work it out....006494209700

Apples that's the great thing about a "HELPFUL" forum. None of us know it all , but we are able to feed off one another to create a solution some how. These types of forum can also be very informative to people wanting to learn new things. They can also create friendships as well.

Spanners Thanks for the offer, I bent it up pretty good removing it. I bent it back but it's not the same. I have a large washer and pressed it hard to flatten it but it wouldn't flatten enough. It's okay though I'm going to send the outer hub to Pinetop his inner is good then he'll be all set. Jungle joe helped me out huge today. Hope to have it together this weekend sometime

. Yes. I haven't pressed it apart so we don't know for sure it's condition.
