98 softail custom ?s. wheels?
Just repurchased my old softail custom back and would like to put a 21" cast wheel on the front instead of the laced, thinking thunder star,
harley catalog/book only goes as far back as 2000
currently, what kind of fitment issues will I have? axle bearing spacers?

You can convert a taper roller axle bike to accept 3/4 inch sealed bearings very simply, its just a matter of spacers. You can convert a taper roller wheel to sealed bearings for a few dollars more, you can convert a 1 inch sealed bearing wheel to 3/4 inch sealed bearings with not too much sweat too.

dealer locally is having an open house this weekend and offering some nice discounts so I was thinking on purchaseing a few parts on my rebuild, cast front wheel, bars risers and new directionals for a start
