Is that a CV bracket you modified for the S&S?

I'm not using the tear drop A/C, just a bird deflector, so I'll need some sort of brace.

Can the Evo manifold clamps be used, or do I need the S&S clamps?

There are 2 different diameter S&S manifolds. Older is smaller, newer is larger so the manifold "Flange Clamps" need to fit accordingly and tight so the intake seal wont squeeze out. I bought the new S&S E kit and all fit correctly. Call S&S, they will tell you the same thing.
I would also use the S&S intake seals for a better seal.
