Need help with the oil pressure switch Electra FLHS
Hi,
Now I need your help guys...
I have bought an old Electra FLHS from 1990 with an aftermarket speedo. The bike was in parts when I bought it and oil pressure indicator have never been installed and now I want this light working...
Anybody have a wireing diagram and how does this switch working?
I belive there is a yellow wire coming from the switch on the motor.
Just as a quick off the top of my head answer there will be an oil pressure switch directly behind the rear lifter blocks. Your motor may have a plug in there or there may be a switch threaded on top and the wire will need an eye type connector.
Thx man!
I see the switch on the motor but how should this be connected to the instrument...?
The aftermarket speedo from Drag says thst the oil pressure switch should be connected the same way as the stock instrument.
I have all other light on the speedo working now as turnsignal and so on.
Im a newbie to these bikes and problem is that I dont know how to install this oil pressure switch and how it works...
