Hello, I have a 99 Heriage softail. I just stated noticing that when I pull the enricher out onA cold start it races up very high idol. Is there a adjustment for the enricher so it does not race so high. If I push it in to soon it pops and the bike will stalL Botton line is the enricher also work with the Idol. It never raced this high before.Thanks all If you can shead some light on this.

pull it out for cold starts for about 30 seconds then push it in to 1/4 or 1/2 until it warms. It will make the idle run high and there is not way that I am aware to adjust this. All it is doing is dumping fuel into the carb. You control how much by how far the enrichener is out. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much, Bike is very cold blooded need to leave enricher out for awhile or it will pop split and stall. this causes problemswhen I engage clutch it jumps forward through the gears with this very high idol. I do let it warm up until rockers start getting warm.
