Default HELP! With Pro Pipe Install

What am I missing here???? The 2 clamps (head pipe clamp and megaphone clamp) that came with my new Pro Pipe are identical but neither will work for this instruction "8. Install megaphone clamp over inner slip joint tube at front of megaphone." I don't get it? I have taken the whole thing apart twice now and neither will work. Any suggestions????

Thanks in advance.

Clamp the two pieces together....forget the instructions...it should make sense just looking at it.

That's the problem. . .neither clamp is big enough to slip over the front of the megaphone.

Your right the instructions suck.

Stupid question....but you did unscrew the clamp screw all the way to try to fit it didn't you?

Is it a wide band clamp with an allen head for adjustment?

If so you can turn that allen head out quite a bit and open the clamp.

I installed a Rinehart 2 into 1 on my bike yesterday to give that a try and I think the instructions were written by someone with a vendetta.

They couldn't have been worse if you sat down and tried to make them suck.

Fortunately it is pretty simple to install pipes....as long as you have the right parts I guess.

The bastards at V&H put 2 head pipe clamps and no (that's right 0) megaphone clamps. I spent 3 and a half hours driving all over the place finding a replacement. Finally found a custom shop that gave a crap about my problem and they fixed me up! Installed it in about 30 minutes with ALL the parts!

Now it runs like I champ. . .but I hate the sound. . . I hope it gets louder.

Like Hammer said, very easy to install. . .with the right parts.

That sucks! I am glad you got it together but it still sucks.

The 2 into 1 is quieter than the Big Shots....it's deeper with more bass kind of sound but definitely quieter.
