Been getting metallic sounds when bike is started cold.
It goes away after it warms up.
I thought it was a lose baffle I switched slip-ons sound still there.
Anyone know where this is coning from?
I went through a similar deal with my bike after I did my big bore kit and ported heads.
I went over to my Indy and he told me that Twin Cams are known to "twinkle" while running at ligh part throttle and with a low restriction exhaust. when cold my bike "chirps" which ive been told is the rear cylindersvalve closing shut with the bigvalve springs clamping down hard, Ive writtien it off as normal charataristics of thebike!
Not sure but maybe the motor is running richer when you first start up or the ign timing might be retarded a little to warm up the bike faster. I would worry about it my 2 cents.
